Solvent extraction and recovery are generally associated with three distinct problems: Strong acids, organic solvents & dissolved gases. Organic solvents are of particular concern, as they attack the housings and connections of sensors and cause interference and damage to reference junctions. The Turtle Tough SMART3 direct smart sensor is extremely versatile for a variety of installation methods. By utilizing a double thickness 3/4" x 1" RADEL body, it is suitable for both immersion, submersion and valve retractable installation types. The RADEL body material offers excellent resistance to abrasion at an economical price.
